Volunteer Program & Guest Accommodation We are now proud to offer a program for Volunteers and Guest Accommodation at the Hay Hotel. The program duration is from 2 weeks up to 1 month of stay.The Volunteers or Guests are accommodated in our small Hay Hotel, that sleeps four persons with an ensuite bathroom and kitchenette, as well as a small enclosed and private garden, surrounded by our horses and the paddocks. The Accommodation is newly built and is very neat and clean, tiled floors through out, the kitchen is equipped with cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, the bedding is provided and a lovely braai area for you to barbecue. Your small pet is welcome! Pls contact us, for the Accommodation rates. The duties of the Volunteers would be to work with the horses on a daily basis, such as feeding, grooming, cleaning stables and paddock cleaning, gardening. We will certainly not overwork, you the volunteer and you will have a few hours off each day, to do as you please. You shall also have 1 day off a week to explore the surrounds, of never ending stretches of beaches and the general beauty the Garden Route has to offer. You will be rewarded with a daily outride, that can be up to 3 hrs in duration and perhaps even an overnight trail. For the fit and fearless Volunteer, a small stunt riding course is a bonus to your hard work. The Volunteer program is aimed at any one that has a passion for horses, rider or non rider! The rate for a 2 week volunteer program is ZAR 4500.00 PP (roughly 400 Euro, but please check current exchange rate) including your accommodation and 3 meals per day. |
